Well we finally made it. Its been a great time in Turkey and we have all made some good friends but now it is time to take this beauty out and let her spread her wings.
Yesterday we left Istanbul mid afternoon after bunkering over 70 ton's of fuel.

As I write this on my engine room watch we are motoring through the Dardanelles on our way to Malta and then up to Antibes.
Yesterday we set sail and sat on around 14-15 Kts with full sail. We sailed past one of the big Star Clipper ship's it must have looked great from a distance with two huge sailing ships sailing past each other.
The crew are all well working very hard at the moment trying to get the boat running they way they want it. But as always, the feeling of being at sea again overwhelms the tiredness!

Well time to go do some rounds.
We will all be updating regularly now as we have a bit more time now that we are out of the shipyard.
