Sail trimming and ammeters

The Cacini team, Angelo and Marco left yesterday, these are the guys who have designed and built the software and electrical side of the mast rotation and sail handling and it is awesome!!

Chris, Jed, Rob and I had the first of many lessons to come on the system, the presentation of the software and how it works is just fantastic, although it does seem strange to be trimming sails using ammeters. When people get a chance to see the bridge I am sure they will be blown away by the system it's just another incredible part of an incredible boat.

After a good curry night last night the crew are raring to go today, the deck crew will be carrying on with there sail testing, and the engineers will be down helping the various sub contractors that we have at the shipyard at the moment.

An interesting thought is that if you consider that the Maltese Falcon is being built in Asia then every continent in the world has had some representation either through supply, production, expertise or crew, truly a multi-national contingent!! I wish you all a good day.
