Well it’s hot out here as Summer has suddenly and violently burst on to the scene, the effects are being felt especially if you stand to long next to the shoe rack!!
The work is going well, but with any build or refit coordination is the key, and patience is a must as all the various facets of the boat come together. The deck crew are helping the yard with the varnishing on the cap rail, luckily the only piece of varnish work, in between coats drying they have plenty still to do with the rigs. As the rigs are so different to anything else there is, they have to come up with possible solutions to problems that may come about in the future and how they will deal with them aloft, luckily for us they all have a wealth of experience working aloft on classic boats and nothing seems to be a problem.

The engineers are busy running around as usual helping the yard and the sub contractors with commissioning off equipment and making sure that people are getting what they need to complete there jobs. Luckily we did not lose any parts in the fire at the airport yesterday as we had some important plugs coming in for the gearboxes.
Sam our IT man is battling away most of the time in the office with the laborious job off data entry on the Techman system which is a pain for him but will help us run the boat super efficiently once we have it all going.
And, that all for now folks, have a great day.
