SOME FACTS AND FIGURES

Timmy Attard, our awesome Second Mate, has computer as well as sailing skills (he's also hard to beat at poker dice)----Tim has compiled some interesting data on the Falcon's activities since launch last year, shown in the two accompanying charts. The fact jumps out that we have spent half out time at sea, some more at anchor, and not much at the dock or in the yard. (The sea time is about 60% under sail, and only 40% under power---we count motor sailing as being under power.) The numbers speak for themselves, and help account for the some 28,000 nautical miles we have on the log since leaving the Perini yard in Istanbul, mid last year. T.P.
